Xiamen Xiashun Aluminum Foil Company Limited (Xiashun) is a global aluminium foil supplier with an exclusive focus on light gauge foil. Xiashun, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hong Kong based Daching Enterprises Limited, is located in Xiamen, a major port city on Chinas southeast coast. It has two separate locations in Xiamens Huli and Haicang Districts occupying total land area of 310,000 meters. The company has invested over US$180 million in its foil business to achieve an annual capacity of 80,000 tons.
Xiashun has undertaken a US$350 million expansion to manufacture 200,000 tons of aluminium sheet that can used as raw material for its light gauge foil in lieu of purchasing outside the company. The facility will also manufacture lithographic sheet used by the printing industry. The new operation is being constructed on 283,000 square meters at a third location in Xiamens Haicang District; it will start operation in 2010.
